Independent Éire Flora Venue Styling Guide
Tailored venue styling guideBooked your wedding at Malt House Barn? This independent Éire Flora guide gives you a practical starting point for choosing hired artificial bouquets, aisle flowers and reception pieces for a barn or farm setting.
A considered floral direction
Malt House Barn is classified for this draft as a barn or farm in or near Shrewsbury. The first styling direction therefore focuses on a relaxed, textural and countryside-led approach. Individual ceremony rooms, reception layouts and supplier arrangements can differ, so compare the shortlist with current venue photographs and confirm access, parcel acceptance and external-supplier rules directly with the venue before ordering.
Barn and farm settings tend to work well with texture, greenery and a relaxed outline. Flowers should complement timber and rural surroundings rather than competing with them.

View CollectionYour floral plan
Ask Malt House Barn which room or outdoor area will host the ceremony, where the aisle begins and whether arrangements can be moved afterwards. Start with the bridal bouquet, coordinated bridesmaids and a controlled number of aisle markers. Place the strongest floral moments at the entrance, aisle end and signing area rather than spreading small pieces everywhere.
Before ordering reception pieces, request the final table plan and check the available surface area after glassware, candles, stationery and serving items are included. Use compact centrepieces for guest tables and reserve the flower runner or strongest arrangement for the top table.
Let the bridal bouquet carry the fullest version of the collection, then reduce the scale slightly for bridesmaids. Buttonholes and flower-girl pieces should repeat recognisable flowers or greenery without trying to reproduce the bouquet exactly.
A helpful starting point
Use these quantities only as a planning framework until the venue layout is confirmed. An essential package might include one bridal bouquet, two or three bridesmaid bouquets, the required buttonholes, four to six dual-use aisle/table arrangements and one top-table runner. A balanced package might use one bridal bouquet, four bridesmaid bouquets, six to eight buttonholes, eight to ten ceremony/table arrangements and one runner. A fuller package may need five or more bridesmaid bouquets, twelve or more repeated arrangements and additional focal pieces. The correct number depends on the rooms, guest tables and whether pieces can be moved.
